4231 students from Bihar have cleared the centrally-sponsored National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) which was held on 17 Nov 2013. Each student would receive an annual stipend of Rs 6,000 from the coming academic session.
Altogether 70,716 class 8 students had taken the examination. While 3,334 boys have cleared the test, only 897 girls passed it.
